    Vadim Babenko was born in Russia. He has lived and worked in Moscow, Washington D.C., and Madrid. In 1992 he published his first book of poetry, "To Gudvin and Kate", and nowadays dedicates most of his time to prose. His books have been published in Russia, Israel and the United States. Vadim Babenko is considered one of the most "intellectual" Russian prose writers. I met him at his country house close to Madrid...
